Inclusive Economy Project Officer

Salary: £200 - £250 per day
Location: Luton

 

Inclusive Economy Project Officer - Connect2Luton are recruiting an Inclusive Economy Project Officer on behalf of Luton Borough Council.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Project Officer with a proven background in project delivery and project administration, ideally within Local Government or the wider Public Sector.

Supporting the Government's Pride in Place Programme, you'll coordinate projects from planning through to delivery, manage governance and reporting, engage stakeholders, and help deliver initiatives that support Luton's long-term economic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and monitoring of Pride in Place projects.
  • Coordinate meetings, governance, reports and project documentation.
  • Track project performance, risks, actions and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports for senior leaders, Boards and Government partners.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
  • Support workshops, engagement activities and project research.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience delivering and coordinating projects or programmes.
  • Strong project administration and governance experience.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and partners.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and support decision-making.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable

  • Local Government or Public Sector experience.
  • Project Management qualification or equivalent experience.
